Lookin for a cheap engine.... I suspect that'd put me firmly in the used market...

Doesn't have to be complete... a short block would work too

The 1011 hasn't been produced in some time due to EPA regs. It's successors are the F3L-2011 followed by the current D2011L03i. We may have something laying around that would work for you.

The problem is those are throw away engines in the diesel world. Cost of overhaul often eclipses the cost of replacement due to the injection system.

Yeah... My current engine spun a rod bearing and the crank looks to be fubar...

Well I put my basket case engine together today... Looks like I have everything except for a bolt or two...

My crank is toast and one rod too... With a good crank and one rod I could rebuild this one...

Sooooo complete engine, short block, or crank n rod.....
