what are the main differences in the fj60 and fj62??
All i can notice from looking at them is the 60 have round headlights, and teh 62 has square headlights. any input is helpful. thank you.

IIRC the 62 were all automatic? and some sort of allwheel/constant 4wd

FJ62 (1988 - mid-1990) has a 3FE fuel-injected 4.0L I-6 motor, an automatic tranny, vacuum-operated part-time transfer case, and 4.11 gears in the axles. 4 square headlights and big chrome side mirrors.

FJ60 (1981 - 1987) has a 2F carb'd 4.2L I-6, 4-speed manual tranny, a manually-shifted part-time case, and 3.73 gears in the diffs. 2 round headlights and small black side mirrors.

Hi All:

Eric, you forgot the electric windows and door locks on the US-market FJ62s!

Wouldn't know - out of several I've worked on for friends, I've never actually been inside a 62... Never cared enough about them beyond the swappability of the drivetrain :D
