Yeah you dont pull up to the "Wall of Death" and not have it in the back of your head you may be leaving on LifeFlight. Hogan said 11 guys have been LifeFlighted out off of it. And you definately know if you dont make it you will have some damage.
I still think the line I took was all wrong. It looked like for my wheelbase I should have gone right up the middle. But everyone there said you have to start right and let it kick you left. It never kicked me left.
Damage isnt bad at all pretty superficial if you ask me. I stole that stupid bolt out of that strap on my rear bridge (the one that everyone asked why we had it ) for the rear sway bar. Tweaked that bridge forward about 2"s and tore some welds. Thats the only damage, I'm like "wow", shoulda left that bolt in.
In Indiana I compromised my front tubework and it failed when I came down on the nose. But no big deal it was going to be getting cut off this winter for a new look.
I've already got the entire buggy stripped down to work on it. Getting ready to send the Atlas in for service work, and the Front High mod. Tranny needs a rebuild after this season and this race. Repair a few tubes, and make all my mods for KOH. No real hurry.
The rocks in Disney are sharp and unforgiving, I still have no idea how I didnt cut a tire there.
