What are the thread on the tapped holes for the fittings put in the back? I mean can they be plugged

I'll double check tonight but I'm 99% sure they are pipe threads.

they can definitely be plugged. Worst case you could put a JIC cap on the existing fittings. But I'm 99% sure you can just plug them with a stadard pipe plug
