Ellensma snow report??

LT Murrey has a little snow going up to the observatory. We made it with open diffs and chains. Clockum has a lot more. We were fighting it with lockers and 39's. Don't know about the ahtanum. This could all change today with the expected snow.:awesomework:

The clockum..? Cant remeber where that is, but either way sound good. We are gonna go have a little play on saturday. Couple of semi stock rigs so if it gets nasty we'll just turn around! If your out on saturday look for us. Ill be leading in a maroon Nissan Frontier on 35s. Channel 18 if you chattering.

Thanks for the report!:hi:

Lt Murray- Has small drifts little slick in places but not a challenge unless we get the big storm this week.

Clockum- Snow in deep and sucks way to dry but still alot of fun.

Ahtanum- Snow is very dry down low and it all depended on what tires were ran once we got in aways it got deep but conditions were better for traction.

Colockum is northeast of Ellensburg and goes to Wenatchee.

Park Creek up to becon ridge rd is also good for semi stock rigs (small tires, rear locker). Get to becon ridge rd and head north untill you cant go any farther.

Clockum is open to wheelers. It was being "closed" by the snow groomers w/o the county's permission. Our county commisioners said it stays open to wheelers. Poohbair and White-rhyno have more details but it is open. I maybe headed there on saturday or up to the observatory.

So just to be solid, the clock IS open to wheelers in the snow? What about all of the green dot roads that go under the power lines and out to the river?

The clockum is open. The first green dot that goes from clockum to the river is beacon ridge rd. You'll want to access that rd from park creek. There is too much snow to make it from the clockum. Two weeks ago we got to where clockum pass road meets beacon and couldn't go any farther with lockers and 39's. If you go up park creek to beacon, you can drive to the river at west bar or the quilomene bar.
