Ellinor Mountain

Ran over to the Olympics this afternoon to get out of the house. I went up FS2419 to FS014. Ran up to the top of FS014 to the upper Ellinor Hiking Trail head and came back down. Was going to continue on with FS2419 but ran into a recent rock slide that made the road really narrow with the snow so decided not to continue on to Jefferson Pass or come back down on FS2464. It was a fun day just getting out and taking in the views. The snow was really wet and slushy and sucked pretty bad but it beat sitting at home. I really want to get over to the Olympic Peninsula more and explore the FS roads. It is a really nice area.

that was your jeep I seen. I turned around where you were parked by 2 other rigs and some kids playin in the snow. this was below the elinor trail head.

Olympic Peninsula is cool. I like driving out to Wynoochee (sp)? Lake in the winter. Snow wheelin' then hit the Brooklyn on the way home :awesomework:
