[QUOTE="FroggF350, post: 633856, member: 333"] We will require a fire suit, and fire extinguishers inside the vehicle. We do also require a head/neck restraint system. No foam collars. You can get a functional set up for less than $200. I know the safety regulations are what kills it for most people, but when it comes to competition, we must keep the racers safe and crowd safe. That's the only way we can keep insurance and sponsors really like to know that the events they are being represented at are safe. We won't be implementing ridiculous rules, I like the idea of KISS (keep it simple stupid). We've already been getting great feedback from vendors, parks, and sponsors, so with the participation of the race teams we can make this a big deal in the Southeast with some of the best payouts in the sport of off-road. As many of you know, I also run the Mega Truck Series and we pay out more than any other mud racing company out there, over $15,000 per race, i don't see why we can't reach that same goal with endurance racing.
