We were supposed to go to Liberty this coming weekend, but With the fires going on near Liberty, and Naches, with both areas being closed for the fires, Trying to figure out an alternative for our group for this coming weekend... What's the scoop on Evans at this point? Does the campground fill up pretty quick? Is it first come, first serve, or by reservation (I honestly can't recall...)? Is there a group area?
 
Since they expanded the CG it's pretty good size. There are multiple shelters and areas to keep groups together. I wouldn't expect it to be too busy next wkd.
 
Fire danger right now at Evans is what? Have they posted anything for this area? Haven't seen...

They closed Crystal mountain so I would imagine the fire danger at Evans is pretty high.

That sounds great. 9 am at the staging area? Are you running Busywild? What kind of rigs? I am in a built dark green FJ40.
 
I'm not sure what we're running, Most should be built Toys but some guys that have never been there were looking for someone to show them around. I believe they have pretty mild builds
