Good morning all,

Just wondering what you guys do when you get burnt out on a project? Have one that's been dragging on for about 5 yrs now. It's one of those helping a buddy out kind of projects. The type of work isn't something I'm really into that much anymore (bagged and body dropped). I'll find any excuse in the word not to work on it. It's pretty close to being done I just despise the thing! What do you guys so when you'd rather set fire to something rather than finish it?

Take an honest look at what is left to do.
Make a list of what needs to be finished.
Post the list on the wall beside the project.
Focus on one item at a time, marking it off as completed.
Realize how far you've come and how much time/money/blood/sweat you've put into it.
Don't pick up any other projects or even start thinking about the next project until you've finished.

Sounds like your buddy is relying on you to be able to finish it. He also may have never started it without your help. But the sooner you get it done, the sooner you don't have to worry about it. Just buckle down, bite the bullet and get it finished. Assuming your friend is a girl, maybe you'll get a bj out of it. :cougar: :dunno:
