I went out there on the 22nd and then again on the 28th with my two kids for a picnic. My Jeep is stock other than some 30" tires on Black 15x8 wheels. It is my daily driver so I went out and did some easy stuuf to see if anything was going to rattle off and everything went fine. The kids had a blast. I did not want to go out with a group on my first times so I would not hold anyone back. I am a Mississippi boy and have been up here sine 1994 and I never get tired of seeing the mountains or the snow on there. I hope to meet some of you and gain some knowledge about trails and wheeling. I am always surfing through here looking for tips, etc... but haven't responded to things.

This link shows some pics from yesterday and some as I added wheel and tires back in March and the beginning when I bought the Jeep in October. I had a 1992 YJ back before marriage and kids but never took it off of the street.

Most of the trails at Evans can be done with little trouble in a stock Jeep if you feel comfortable driving in some tight spots. Dents may accure if your not careful. A winch is a good idea going into fall & winter. Hook up with someone next time, run the first trail you see on the right as you enter the park. If you feel comfortable with that trail you can do most everything else up there. :hitit:

I cut my wheeling teeth at Evan's. I wheeled my stock truck there on 31's for a long time. I did have some near misses and some not so near.:redneck:
