flange or yoke on drive shafts?

switching my 1350 stuff over to 1410.have broke the yoke 4 times on the back from rocks.is a flange on the axle side better then a yoke with a pinion guard.dont care for the pinion guards because they seem to hook everything.(but they do save the yoke) i have looked at a bunch of rigs at the srrs.and i notice alot of guys are running flanges.is the flange better? leaning towards them now.

I just got one of these for the D60 i'm building, the flange system works great on toyotas, they spin on the rocks

yea i have pretty much made up my mind to do flanges on the axle side friont and rear 1410.how bought the t case side flange or yoke?doesnt seem like that matters as much.im running a ford 205.
