So I'm not much of a drinker anymore but I found a new beer that I LOVE! I had heard of raspberry beer but never seen it. After some looking online and then finally finding it I tried it tonight and can honestly say it tastes like raspberry and is even red. :redneck: Not that icky beer taste. It comes in a large bottle like wine and even has a cork. Sadly it doesn't have a way to reseal it when you are done. (for those like me who don't drink alot)

But I just thought I'd tell you all this **** is good. :clappy:

I don't think they are up north but if you're down in the Vancouver/Portland area find a Mcminimins brew pub... They have flavored beer that is just flat out GOOD and I absolutely HATE micro brews but their stuff is excellent. :D

Fred Meyer sells that lambic. Lindeman's has a bunch of other flavors beside the framboise (apple, peach, probably some others) but I think the selection varies by store. As far as foo-foo beer goes, it's pretty good :awesomework:

The McMenamins Ruby is good too (for a foo-foo beer) but it's not the same. It's more like a light hefeweizen with raspberry flavor where the lambic is clear and crisp - almost like a fruit wine. And there are a bunch of McMenamins pubs up here. A couple in Seattle, and one in Mill Creek that I can think of.

I also tried a Pyramid Apricot Ale but it's a wheat beer and had way too much wheat taste. I didn't like it nearly half as much.

I found this stuff at Albertsons inside their little cooler. The walk in part. It was on sale for like $10.00

... that is slapping a hop grower in the face...

Beer is supposed to taste like BEER!!!!! ... Not juice!!!

How 'bout one of those wine-bottle-seal-a-ma-bob things they sale in the wine section at Safeway (like these -- no affiliation :D).

Well since this was the first time opening and seeing it had a cork and no way to reseal it, I'll know next time and probably pick something like that up. :awesomework:

Ahh didn't know you guys had them up there. Good place to grab a beer and good food. :D

As mentioned "ruby" is what I was thinking of but there is another one that is blackberry that I got last time we were there that is better than ruby but the name escapes me..

Wow.... have your balls dropped yet?:redneck: I must ask, what other beer do you like....

I don't drink much beer but if you open my cooler when we're out camping you'll find bud light lime, Coors light, natural ice or PBR. I'm a jagerbomb/spider bite/what the fawk ever you hand me with a chaser kinda guy. :D
