Want to pick up a spare unit bearing for my new axles, used, cheaper is better

Thanks

I got a Timken one from partsgeek.com for $180. Autozone wanted $300 for the same one.

I thought about buying a cheap one from Rockauto ($90), but I'd really like to pick up a loose/worn one from someone that they were going to scrap. (for free preferably) :spin:

Still looking to pick up some cheap or free used ones

I scrapped that other one I had, but I just swapped my BIL's this past weekend. Its pretty worn slap out though. The tire would move about 2 inches in each direction.

Dang don't know if I could "save" those.

That's what I've found, most people run them till the wheel is about to fall off.

I'm liable to get a customer in with a wore one soon. If so ill get it to you.

Awesome :dblthumb:

fiancé's dad and my neighbor both have mechanic shops, but rarely get 99-04 super duty's in. They work on mostly foreign cars and older luxury cars.

I get a good bit of them. Not near as much as the 99-06 GM 1500s but still a very common. I just gave a non abs one to a buddy to have machined to fit a 35 spline stub shaft to upgrade his superduty.

Hey Nick My buddy has a nearly new Motorcraft assembly. Said he would take $50 plus the ride. I gave him a good one awhile back and he had it machined for 35 spline, Then he bought another one already machined so he don't need it. Johnny 662-242-6969

Thanks. I'll holler at him tomorrow

This is Johnny. I've still got that bearing buddy. It's a Motorcraft ABS Bearing with about 2 months on it. I'm in Tupelo, MS. I'll take $50 for it.
