We made out way once again to the formula Offroad Cup. This year it is in Iceland. Just finished Day 2 the last and final day of racing. The action was insane!
Here is a video of the cars skimming the pond yesterday. More on the way. I will try to upload and keep this thread updated as we get Wifi and finish our tour around the country.

What do they weigh and what kind of wheel speed are they making to do that?

They say the lightest one is around 2500lbs. Many of them have between 600 and 800hp one has 1600hp. It takes a lot of wheel speed to climb in the sand and loose dirt so water is easy. This is a short water course they go 1000ft in Hella Iceland on water.

When I was in Navy I was stationed in keflavik, Iceland in 1993. I got to see it in person. They were wild then. Have to be a better show now. Good times.

When they put the gates up at the top of that grassy hill I was like Heck YES!
The Icelandic folks sure know how to lay out some badass courses. Ill be back for sure!

I didnt see one. They have Taco Bell, KFC, and Subway though.
