My front upper arms are lower at frame end then at axle end at ride height whats this goona do. I see so many different setups but that seem to work well but havent seen any like this. I have read all day on this and have found zero answers. I theory it should try to pull the buggy toward the ground I dont see a problem with that or am i missing something??? :fish:

idk if this will help you but you can download a free version of the 4 link calculator that is pretty helpfull

I already have the 4-link calculator. There is no way i'll acheive perfect numbers on this build just wondering what are gonna be the real world effects of running it like this.

im not sure if im readin it right but his seperation isnt the problem its that his links actually go upwards?

Seperation at axle 9in at frame 6.5. Lower arms are running level with the ground uppers are maybe a 12 degree angle running up to the axle

it will work good, the seperation at the frame is a little more than i like normally but with out lookin at it hard to say, show us some pics.

We are 4 linking the rear of Drews jeep and are having FLEX STEER issues :dunno:

straight lowers, triangulated uppers.

8" seperation at axle, 4" of seperation at frame.

uppers are 30% shorter than the lowers.

uppers are at 0 degrees, lowers are at 6 degrees.

pinion angle is good thru arc of travel of lifting and lowering the whole rearend.

when we drop one side off the jack stand it steers forward.

if you lift one side up toward the frame it goes straight up :dunno:

OH and sorry for the derail.

I just didn,t see the point in starting a new thread when your,s was so close to my question ;D

How much frame seperation do most of you guys on here look for? 25% to 30% of axle?

Yes, uppers are only 30" long.

Second time today ive heard make them longer, wich is great because EVERY component involved is only TACKED in place currently ;D

THANKS

And jk ive heard on axle seperation....

no less than 6"......but no more than 12" :dunno:

I think that the setup will be different for EVERY damn rig out there :dunno:

Ive seen rigs with link setups of ALL sorts that appear wrong work fine :dunno:

and ive seen some that look corrcet that will flex steer themselves off a trail :****:

:spin:

THANKS Payne....but come on yall, with all the supposed koh "race car" type buildin folks we got on here and the only one givin advice is the ****in porn guy :wtflol:

I mean no offense payne but dammit I bet we got folks on here that can set up link suspesions blind folded in the dark while its rainin ;D

:dunno:

I can set up a 4link blind folded in the dark while its rainin
