first trip out in my rig and the front lockrite is slipping very bad, so what is everyone running with good luck been thinking detroit. its going in a chevy d60

pretty much everyone I have talked to about lockrites for 60s have liked them and havent had any issues with them......something not installed right? :dunno: I dont really know **** about them, my front is welded solid!

its installed right i just have run that locker in my old rig for about 3 years and i am not easy on things, but this is the 2nd one i have seen do the same thing mine did just looking at a better locker

I ran my lockright for about 3 years then it started slipping then wouldnt lock up at all so I just took the welder to it now there are no parts to break.

If its new and slipping you have a side gear thrust washer problem. There is a minimum thickness

Chase at ECGS can send you a set of shims for the thrust washers... Look up the specs, the tighter the better... :cougar:
