Front Mounted Cameras

Yea, i know what they say - "POINT AND GO" but that didnt work out for me for going slow on trails and ridges.

So i orders some cameras from amazon as a kit and mounted them on the chassis. They worked awesome and the night vision was amazing.

Here are some pictures

and here is some of the stuff I did this last weekend. I definitely took the hardline where these cameras helped alot

These are the ones I ordered.

They look bulky but they have alot of IR LED for night wheeling and the picture is really clear with it.

My reverse camera will have the same and it will hook up to my reverse on the transmission. With this monitor it will switch to the camera once it is engaged.

Funny I was just thinking about this the other day. There are so many cameras available now I didn't know where to start. Are the ones you got weatherproof like screens and all?

I highly doubt the monitors would be waterproof.

guys laughed when i did this,,, i had mine on front of the oil pan,, wachted for rocks coming for my exposed steering ram at the time- worked well until the camara gets dirty

The monitors are not waterproof but the cameras are.. There is some marine ones out there that i will get next if these go out, but for a quick project before my last trip it was def worth it.

They helped a tremendous amount.
