So, I was thinking about a carb but I really want fuel injection. Looking for opinions on what would be the best and most affordable fuel injection for a mid 80's stock SBC 350 in my S-10 truggy. I may eventually upgrade the heads and add a mild cam. Thanks in advance.

There are options from Holley, Summit, & Fi-tech all for around $1k or less.

The cheapest option is forgetting camming the motor and pulling a factory tbi system off a 87-95 sbc. A couple hundred bucks or less and you'll have a complete system that has been proven to work on millions and millions of vehicles. It has more wires than the aftermarket stuff and does not respond to performance modifications, but it is by far the cheapest option.

The best (for a sbc) is a self-learning Holley Terminator TBI kit for about $2600.

The cheapest will have you visiting church on the regular with the unholy things you'll be shouting while working on it.

Agreed says the man who used Holley ProJection in the mid-00's.
Such a POS system!

I got a throttle body from a 97 Chevy ...TBI ...cheap but still works well...usually not very expensive from a junkyard...just my 2 cents
