Buddy has a 04 chevy that keeps burning up the inturnel fuel pump. Any ideas? Thanks

does he like letting it run on 1/4tank or less?

I asked him if they had changed the filter and he didn't know. Haven a shop work on it. No he don't let it go under a half tank.
