Re: Funny meme thread

It's interesting, genius and funny to me. When you really dissect the attack dog principal it preys upon the natural fear of animals by humans. Just like black people who pass out if a cricket jumps their way.

So combine that with law enforcement that advertises that police dogs are considered human officers and harm to them is punishable by the same laws, it conditions humans to think that dogs especially trained attack dogs are death on 4 legs.

I don't know how many of you have wrestled big dogs before. Even to the point where they get real riled up and start to hurt you, grabbing them by throat with your free hand, or jamming your thumb all the way down their throat, or a distractive arm swing while you put em in an upside down rear naked choke and kick their legs out from under em, they very quickly become panicked but there ain't no escaping when your adrenalines a pumpin.

So mainly it's just overall observation that naturally we fear animals. Though if you can get past that fear and know that there's a 99% chance you will sustain an injury of some kind, you have the same chance of taking advantage of the 4 legged 1 mouth disadvantage.

Maybe I got lost in my point. I think I mean to say that most grown white men are afraid to feed a goose by hand at the park. I look at every unknown dog remembering my wrestling then tell myself I'm ready to rock baby. Lol

I agree with this to an extent. Where they get you is when you run. Those dogs are conditioned to thrive on the chase. Stop running and confront them and you can confuse them a little.

Furthermore, an encounter with a dog is like a knife fight. The first rule is you are going to get cut/bit. Accept that and win the fight. (Or do like my dad taught me and don't bring a knife to a gun fight, but that's a whole other story).

The problem lies in the fact that, as you pointed out, assaulting the dog is the same as assaulting the cop. Felony assault on a police officer isn't something I want to mess around with!

Agree, except the thing about police dogs is there is always a cop behind them. The dog will slow down and incapacitate a human long enough for a cop or three to get to the human that the dog is attacking.
In addition, military dogs are a lot more than fur rocket attack dogs. Well trained military dogs are awesome to watch work....I have a ton of respect for them and their handlers.

Wanna see something really cool; watch a NYC cop on a horse in a subway station...now THAT animal will clear a path!! LOL (Have seen it first hand when I group of "people" got rowdy on St. Pats day a long time ago)

And I agree with you about dogs that aren't police dogs. Don't bother me all that much...but then again 99% of the time I see an aggressive dog I am carrying and have a pretty good idea I will win that fight. I may get bit, bit chances are the dog will die.

I'm 99% positive that's Israeli SF doing a rehearsal. Looks like their uniforms, but their helmet covers are different from what those two have.

Did a littl googling and yes Israeli sf they do everything with their dogs! Parachute, repel off of buildings, crowd control! Serious biness!

Re:

Could you imagine what the dog thought the first time the person who was carrying him, jumped out of the plane. Lol

Sheeeit those dogs were prolly yelling BOOYAH!! in Hebrew...

Hahahaha! Nope! Seen it first hand! The muzzle is so the handler doesn't get bit. Make no mistake about it...them dudes do not enjoy rappelling or fast roping. Take my word for it...

Yeah, I was just being a wiseass... Can't see an animal that is used to being in control of itself liking the fact that it is now in freefall...LOL

In my job dogs are considered a tool. That being said its hard not to get attached to them and it really sucks to see them get hurt. I have jumped free fall day and night with them, once you exit the aircraft their little brains don't comprehend whats going on so they chill. Before the jump on the aircraft is a different story, hence the muzzle.
