I don't know about other peoples thoughts on this but that is just wrong. I know it's just a joke and a meme but I'd love to kill that guy with his own club if I had a chance. I wouldn't lose even the slightest wink of sleep over it either.

Re:

I'm mostly only passionate about cars....but animals (mainly dogs) aren't far behind if not beside.

I've had more confrontations with other people due to dog abuse/neglect than anything.

Mine are kids and animals. Because they have little control over abuse and neglect and can't speak out.

I'm not against legal hunting by any means, but poaching, and inhumane ways are over the line.

Maybe you should look into it a bit before getting all tough talk and saying you'd like to kill someone...

That's how seals are harvested. It's quicker, safer, and more humane than shooting at them.

I know it's hard for some people to comprehend that the whole world doesn't eat cows, pigs, and chickens by the millions like the USA

And Tony, that's not a ****ing dog.

And this^^^^^^ Tony is why we get along so well. I'm sorry but there is nothing humane about this. To each their own I guess but.......

Re:

Meh, I get it seals are "cute" and we don't see them as a commodity.

I swear some people would ball up and cry if they knew where meat came from.

No doubt I'd go toe to toe with someone abusing an animal for fun.

But I don't see walking an ice flow and piking a limit of seals any different than shooting a limit of ducks, or stringing up mess of fish.

I guess I don't see how it's more humane than shooting them. I mean I get hunting and feel it's a necessity to control overpopulating which leads to disease. I just don't agree with the method.

Yea we should shoot people that kill animals for food :****: :wtflol: is wrong with people :gtfo: let's shoot people that deer and duck hunt to :wtflol: people are crazy :JRich:

Word for word I agree. I've seen more waste in duck hunting than I ever thought I would see with good ole boys that were raised to eat what was killed. I know for a fact that most(80-90%) of the ducks killed in our area aren't ate. No telling how many fish are caught and killed and not ate. I've come to the conclusion that it's best if I worry about what I do and what I teach my kids vs what others do, however if I think the offence is bad enough I will report it. Our deer limit is 12 deer, who eats 12 deer a year??? I kill enough to eat.

I wish more people would get that hunting is a good population control. Your one of the few I know that don't hunt but probadly understand more than most that do hunt

That club (pike) has a spike on the end that sticks em in the brain. A few experienced guys can go round up and harvest enough seals to feed a village for a month in just a few minutes.

Shooting them you get pass throughs that wound other seals, plus the bullets would skip/ricochet on the ice for miles (no hills and trees around like we're used to) which is very dangerous for obvious reasons.

People don't go out on their farm and shoot the livestock they are going to process into food. Not sure where people get the perception that wild animals have to be taken by shooting them.

I've also found that most hunters (and people in general) generally don't value birds as much as mammals.

Case in point. I love shooting doves and pigeons over a seeded out pasture or hay field (during legal hunting season of course) but I ain't eating no damn mite covered flying rat unless I'm hungry. That's buzzard and coyote food.

Kinda like the 3 does per day limit a lot of the state has. Deer are becoming pests like hogs in a lot of the state.

I guess we could be like the liberal States up north and outlaw hunting then hire "snipers" and "wildlife control" companies to eradicate the deer :wtflol:

Bingo.

Re:

Plus there a lot of feed the hungry programs. Hunters will kill one take the back straps and drop it off at packing house. They will ground it up in burger.

Those are great programs. I know people who just love to hunt and be in the woods but only keep a few for themselves a year. The rest they donate to a program like that. Helps the less fortunate.

I didn't post what I did to start a argument, but I do feel clubbing is inhumane.

Sorry. Back to memes

Re:

Learn something new everyday on Hardline, just didn't expect to learn about clubbing seals on here. I did Google it and the method does make sense in certain situations.

I hunt and don't eat the meat. I can if its that **** Adam Lee made at Morris. But other than that I like to sit way up there , burn and chill. I really like to hunt tho. Soemthing bout shooting a deer that satisfies the sociopath part of me. But someone eats it. Usually I take it to a program round here that feeds the hungry. Either that or someone that can't hunt and wants the meat. It's like killin 2 birds with 1 stone. :woot:
