Gear oil in your axles

What are you running in your axle gears? Would 80W140 hold up to the abuse better than 80W90?

Either one sounds good . I had synthetic and it leaked out like water ever time i drove it .

seriously, gear oil has additives in it for the type of wear that ring and pinions go though, a grinding metal on metal sideways shuffle.
If you want to go badass, just get the redline shockproof **** or whatever makes JR's 404 boxes hold up. everyone swears by it..........wait, aren't you amsoil? put that **** in there

I would run Amsoil, but that **** is too much $$$ for something I drive through 3' of water on a regular basis. :flipper:
I just want to know what is the best **** for CHEAP! :****:

He wants to SAVE money and is an amsoil dealer. I don't see him dropping coin on a different expesive as fawk oil
although that's what I ran in my last dodge.

save your old oil , put it up for a few months and it will seperate , good as new again.

Why is water getting in the axles?

cuz there not water tight i guess !
the felts on toyotas do not last lang when you max out your turn stops
