hey i was wondering if anyone had ever ran up glacier creek road (NF39)
it runs off the mt baker highway from about 1000 feet all the way up to 5100 feet, it has a ton of spurs off of it and stuff.
Has anyone ran up it?

I was kind of thinking about running up it, anyone up for a trip?

its about 30miles from bellingham, WA

I am not sure what you are looking for? There is a great hike at the end of the road (Heliotrope Ridge) If it is wheeling, don't bother. There is nothing that a Eddie Bauer subaru can't do, plus it would be illegal.

I have thought about a snow run up that road but deemed it too dangerous. Drive up the road and you will see my concern of rolling down one of several 100 foot man-made ledges.

For fullsize rig I'd stay away from Walker Valley, the trails there are SWB and tight. Reiter is where you wanna go. I'm pretty sure the greenie majority in bham has made it illegal for tires to leave pavement in Whatcom county.

If you are looking for snow, Iron Mountain outside of Wooly isn't too bad, I'm sure there is a lot better up there, but that's a place I know of.
