gps apps for smart phone

what are you guys using to track trail you have been on or get new trails from friends? for droid phones

Google Maps allows you to just put a pin anywhere you want on a map, doesn't it? And then at that point it should just be a matter of sharing that map with whoever you want.

I am looking at houses right now and I share a map with them all on it with my Realtor and wife. I also put a link to the MLS web site listing for each house so that I can go directly there. It is VERY convenient.

after some searching i came across "my tracks" app. seems like just what i am looking for. I always wanted a little hand held gps but never could pull the trigger on spending the cash, hell they have everything for these phones.

I always notice old trails heads while i am driving and wonder what was back there, so i wanted something that i can use to see where others have went and show places i may know of.
