Guy found dead at reiter....Weird story.

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

I saw a report on king5 at 10pm channel 6

said he called a friend early this morning to ask for "help off Reiter road"

and it sounded like he drove down the cliff and was still in the vehicle when they found him

Thats wierd cuz as far as i know the kid didnt have a car thats why he was kneeling in the road in the pouring rain.......... This is TWISTED!!!! im really creeped out now

This is starting to make my experience up there a week ago seem like nothing out of the ordinary. :eeek: :wtf:

Just reporting what I watched on King 5 news.

They said a man was found dead in his truck after phoning a friend for help.

Sounds like mr drinkypoo made a wrong turn.

This is getting really odd.

I just talked to paulie and he told me a different story. He said the guy in the bronco was in his 40s and the kneeling guy was only about 20. The guy they found was the 20 year old and the bronco with no driver.:eeek:

They were there when the 20 y/o got into the bronco that the drunk dude was driving. I bet he walked the accident off and walked down the hill towards index.

same story was first post...

holy sh!t...thank god paulie and nike got out of there when they did. thats really scary

Im confused as to how the kid was found in a rig at the bottom of the cliff as the news channels state. The kid was begging for me and paulie to give him a ride into town since his friends had ditched him and he was stranded. Thats why im guessing he didnt have a car of his own, but diddnt they find the cowboys bronco......? I thought i saw it parked right by the SAR vans. :wtf: anyone know what kind of rig he was found in? There was a car parked on the side of the road around 200ft into the gravel rd towards the wall trail and no one was around. We saw the car turned around headed back down reiter rd, and ran into the kid than the cowboy. it was just a crazy wierd night!!

Kinda sounds like cowboy dude in the bronco wrecked his rig somehow (sounds like he was drunk?) and killed the kid riding with him, and walked away from the scene to try to avoid trouble.

Sounds to me like 20y/o paulie ran into was the passenger that called 911 in the morning. THe drunk cowboy sounds unrelated and not the one they are looking for. Just my take on it. Did paulie or jpngrl think of coming forward to the sheriffs with the info you guys have? It might help their investigation. You wont get into trouble since you were doing no wrong. I would suggest contacting the sheriff, I know if it was my 20 y/o son I would want all the investigating help available.

thats weird, the more I hear about Reiter the more I know I'll be sure to hook up with some of you gun carrying wheelers especially if there is a chance of being out till its dark.

guns and borders don't mix to well.

Other then the big sign in the main staging area that says basically closed after dark, but I agree, I'm pretty sure that's the least of the investigations issues now. They just want to know what happened and who was involved.
