Put some air bumps on that thing while he has it. If I were guessinf, you will probably have the front end slamming around. May save you some money on dental work.

I just looked at the chassis I bought, and realized what a complete wast of money that was. I'm literally using like 15% of it. At least it gave me something to build around. molaugh

I was really bummed when I heard 747 motorsports was not doing tube work anymore, however my second choice did ok. :flipoff1:
I got some welding to do and a couple of small things to finish up. Luckily I have property so I can do test donuts and a couple of little jumps. Shouldn't be long till a good beating.

Cool, that's what I figured. Also thought you may have a bolt on tire carrier or cooler rack to replace the tailgate for long rides and such.

I have a lot of welding to do.
My last event is Halloween. I pretty much work 15 hours a day everyday. Hopefully I can sneak off and get the wedding knocked out and start riding first week of November.
It's been Its been over two years, I would love to get some hardliners together for the first ride. I have a feeling I'm going to find the weak link pretty quick. It would be nice to have some other rigs to ride around in.

Sooo I didn't make my nov 7th deadline but I'm close. I'll post up some finished pics in the next day or two.
I did however make an awesome $29 welding cart.

I would like to publicly apologize to rocfun for my welds on this beautiful chassis he bent up for me. :****: He did the fabbering and I did the weldering.
Chassis is welded up. Limit straps are moched up. Trans cross bar was raised for smooth belly.

I've got to tweak the steering ram a little or buy a decent ram, mount seat belts, secure plumbing, make the wiring look like a drunk monkey didn't do it, and get the tires to hold air more than an hour.
I'll post up some pics tomorrow.

Everyone hates it including myself but slime works on leaky beadlocks and old super swampers. I have used it in 3 different sets of wheels an tires with great luck. The only bad part is it's messy when u gotta break a tire down.

Knock out a couple of things that I've been worried about.
Got the seats mounted and five point harness done.
Shock mounts on front axle are slightly under built, so I added an additional brace and tied limit strap into the mount.

Did upper limit strap mounts. Found a BTF shock tab that worked perfect. I may add a second and mount it double shear. What do you guys think?

Had my first cut off wheel come apart on me tonight. That's a life changing experience! Luckily I had on my welding gloves, still hurt like hell.

Build is looking good man thumb.gif I'd go ahead and double shear it, no need to worry about it ripping out and messing up a coilover.

I haven't had one of the 4.5" wheels blow up yet. I spun one of the 7" wheels a little to fast on the air grinder once and it shattered, it was sketchy to say the least.

get the "Pearl" cut off wheels and never look back....you will throw rocks at other grinding wheels!

and i love the re-design by the way...it looks mean and totally changed the look of your rig. someone is a mad man with a tube bender!
