Since the event's payout was based upon competitors entry fees - what few competitors showed didn't think it was worth it to run the event, so we had to cancel it.
It also was super short notice (less than a month) and conflicted with another nearby parks event date (this we didn't find out until last minute).
Live and learn -
#1 All new events will have a set payout amount.
#2 Dates are being set well in advance as to not conflict with other races
