Harlan New Years ride

I love the FJ cruiser/truck, it has a 6.0 in it. Notice how with a stock cam and intake it doesn't "sing into the power band" like the LS1,2,6 intake and cams do. Food for thought Cole.
Damn...hope my 2.25" 7075 lowers last a little while....

I already got this covered. ;)

So....... how did the treps perform ****ers? You know those are my lust rubbers.

They're my lust rubbers as well. It seemed like advantage krawler on Sat. I've talked to 1 of the werock competitors who's run them both and he says in the dry the treps are better than the krawlers, but throw some wetness down and it goes back to the krawlers. Personally,I think it's advantage krawlers dry and wet. I just hate the windows that are so accustomed to showing up in the sidewall of a nice and new krawler. If maxxis could figure out the right amount of 3m adhesive that bfg throws into their tires, it wouldn't even be a contest.

Don't count the treps out yet, I think they need to be broken in a little more first.

Overall, I like them. I don't wheel careful enough for krawlers. I abused the creepies without issue, and the treps should be the same. So far the treps seem stickier than a creepy. I ran the treps at 2 psi on Sat to try to break them in, think I'll be really happy with them once they have a few rides on them.

Might have some good news for the BFG fans here in a few weeks. booyang Ofcoarse it could be a rumor but it was a pretty reliable sorce.

I would love to hear what you heard. Considering we haven't built any Krawlers in a month or so and there isn't any on the schedule in the next month or so. You can PM if you want.

I wonder if you heard the same thing I was hearing from a certain shop here in town building a certain car for a certain race.... laughing1 I even had him repeat himself cause I was like " dude are you sure "

Then I asked Cole about it and he was like... What the hell are you talking about laughing1

They have some in stock now, mine shipped out yesterday from Cole's plant. I heard the same thing about special tires and these are just mock up tires.

i wish I had full tread Krawlers laying around for "mock up" laughing1

They will be used, those special tires don't exist and even if they did at BFG's pace they will be here in a year or two

:dunno: But if its going to happen I will be in line for a set.

We are talking about the BFG copying the thornbird pattern in a sticky 48" tire right?
