Good point. I'll need to know overall height. My junk isn't real tall, but I'll still have to check.
Edit: Google fu says 14 feet max. This is 4 foot to the bed, truck is maybe under 7'. Should be gtg.
I believe if its privately licensed no need to stop at the scales. My rv has a gvw of 30k and I never stop.
I may not be the best person to get advise from because I sometimes don't stop when driving a tractor or crane.:redneck:
We blow past them in our empty loggers all the time. You do not need to stop. One driver stopped there empty and the weighmaster asked him if he was telling on himself, driver asked what he meant and weighmaster said you do not need to stop empty but since you chose to I am citing you for no seatbelt.
I fired him for his stupidity.
