I'll be there, but I guess I'll just be running a camcorder. Scout's engine has a blown head gasket (from the last attempt on Maverick) and I pulled it last week. Be a few weeks before it's running again. Doing a cam swap and converting from propane to EFI while it's out, though. Y'all put on a show! Weather looks like the rain will be moved out, intellicast says 40f and sunny for sat!

this is it it doesnt seem to bad to me if ya got ground clearence. it has a big ass stump dead in the center either jump it or go around :dunno:

I don't have any pics or any better video of the hill. There is a 5ish foot ledge to get over in the middle which has a pretty nice stump on the edge to hang you up. The run up to the ledge is kinda rough, too, which makes it hard to get a run at it. The trees around it limit your line choices. It definitely seemed doable last time I was on it, but I haven't seen it since we got all this rain.

There were two stumps, one right on the edge which was coming loose and might be gone now, and one a little higher up on the ledge strategically located to hang your front axle when you get your front tires up on it. I expect the bigger one is still there, but like I said, haven't checked it out in a couple of weeks.

were out on this time I gotta put a R&P in my front and daddy is still recoverin from shoulder surgery and ethan can't go without us. But I hope everbody has a good time that was a nasty spot last time I seen it good luck to all the compeitors :dblthumb:

That stump is the only reason I did,t make it back in the spring , not hatin on the trail but STUMPS SUCK and should be REMOVED if possible :gtfo:

Also , does anyone know if the ENTIRE MAVERICK TRAIL be used for the comp, or just the hill :dunno:

I know the whole trail is,nt that long, probably about as long as PRIMOS , and the bottom section will be interesting .....GOIN FAST :****:

Mark said today that they had done some trail work down there and it was my understanding that there was a new lead in cut to the hill. I'm pretty sure the comp is just the last portion of maverick possibly including a new lead in, not the entire maverick trail. There is another trail (bluff trail) that comes to the upper part of maverick and is level 1-2ish for access.
