Just use the ZJ drag link and get a beefcake tie rod from somewhere like www.bulletproofsteering.com or a TNT customs tie rod.

You can use both components and they do provide added strength over stock, but they aren't up to the task of really reefin' on them. Bigger tires than 31's and you really need to upgrade your steering linkage.

Currie makes a mighty nice steering linkage but it will cost in the neighborhood of $450. It is well worth it.
 
I did some homework. The stock V8 steering is a tiny bit smaller but solid. All the stuff should bolt right on but my question is will it? It is also $200 cheaper to go this way. I dont skinny pedal to much but have gone through a steering set already with my 33's I just need to be cheap right now because X-mas is inbound. plus I cant stop modding
 
Yes, it is a direct bolt in.

The WJ steering is a bolt in as well, but has a funky bend in the tie rod for going around the D30 housing? :wtf:
