Okay I am working on a 1991 suburban and i can not figure out what front end it has I thought it was a dana 44 but the parts dont fit. Any help would be much appreciated

Some D44 and 10bolt parts swap, some don't.....

they bought a locker for a dana 44. I know all of the outer parts swap but the cover isn't round like all of the 10 bolts i have seen the corner is cut like a 44

a front ten bolt cover is different than a rear ten bolt, the cover souds right,

that would be a ten bolt. and if you are putting a locke in it and anything beigger than 33s be prepared for some broken axles.

no no no, you can put any size tire on a ten bolt, and have no problem,

Thanks everyone for the help I really hate when people bring a pile of parts over and say this is what it cane out of can you assemble it. Anyway thanks again
