So the wife finally talked me into changing out the old bathroom fan/light. To be fair, it's been rattling around for a while. So I picked up a new unit and have gotten to the wiring part but of course, this fan has more wires than I have coming out of the ceiling, and some are different colors.

For perspective, I've got 2 switches in the bathroom, 1 turns the fan on and off and the other works the light in the unit. So somewhere along the way they connect to make 1 wire with a black, white, red and ground.

To make matters worse, the fan unit has a humidity detection function so that just adds to the mess. I've been trying to decipher the diagram but with basically zero electrical experience, it's not making much sense. Little help?

Lol, nevermind. Red to black, black to brown and whites together. Simple as that.
