I'm almost positive my hubs are a IFS hub with a strait axle hub gear......but not 100% sure:mad:

How can you tell by looking at the hub body if it is or was a IFS hub body?

someone please kick me down some knowledge:awesomework::beer:

Thanks!

Hi All:

Post a pic of your lock-outs, then we can make a guess! :D

I'm serious here!

With IFS hubs don't you need Bobby Longs hub gear to make it work on a straight axle. I am hoping to do this someday as my Warns always loosen up.

IFS hubs have 24 splines, the hub bodys are to tell apart. The IFS hub on the back of it is counter sunk a little more than the streight axle. A streight axle hub gear will NOT work in a IFS the gears will not engage all the way.
Yes we have IFS hub gears.

Thats what I did and they only engauge half way and broke the teeth off after only 4 or 5 runs. It only took one narley spot to break.
