How long since you've wheeled

Jan of '12. New house, and working on Dad's Mustang pushed needed repairs and upgrades of the Bronco down the list. I basically built it in '06, and wheeled it for 6 years without much maintenance. I could take it out, but I'd likely end up being "that guy." I don't like being "that guy' with the broke down **** blocking the trail, or needing to be extracted and cut short another wheelers day.

I had gotten my ride officially up and running Nov of '12 (after 5 years of no rig), and took her up and played around in some snow for her maiden voyage, and either blew the rear main seal or the transmission.

Currently getting all the parts to scrap the auto to change it to a manual in the process of checking the rear main. Hope to be up and running by March.

I wheeled my last Subaru (Stella) at the hangover run 2013 at Tahuya.
I had just gotten this current truck. Been building it since.
I HOPE to have it done for summer.

The summer of 2013!
Sheesh it has been too long!

Everytime I take it for a shakedown around the neighborhood I notice something else broken!

On my list of things to fix is rent tool to finish adjusting valves, get tube replaced in front tire, rip apart front portal housing and replace seals and bearings hoping to eliminate play and get a cage made!

I have a Pathfinder I can use to wheel but I'd need to do wheel bearings and run it thru emissions to get tabs.

What I need to do is focus on getting the brakes figured out on my car hauler/firewood hauler Loadstar so I can bring my junk out to the trails

I wheeled the **** out of a plymouth duster today. :awesomework:

Jeep's broken. Need them new fancy shafts.

Over a year ago. Tried going out last spring but had carb issues. Only made it 100 yards down the trail before I had to turn around.

I wish I could say my junk's broken, but the tabs will have been expired for 2 years in June.... It's in the garage, starts with the first twist of the key....:eeek:I'm just having too much fun with my little girl , who's about to turn 1:cheer: guess I need to but a blister in the cage and buy a tiny 3rd seat/harness:awesomework:

Yesterday.

I'm going on over a year if wheeling at least once a month.

I remember a few years ago when I didn't have a working wheeler, not wheeling sucks. Wheeling keeps me sane even if it's just running logging roads, or when Gavin and I took our rigs and invaded longbeach, haven't had that much fun in a long time.

I know the feeling. I've only made it out maybe 2-3 times a year since my little girl was born. Its been hard for me to justify the $60+ in fuel I'd burn going wheelin when I would rather just be hanging out at home playing with my daughter.

She will be turning 3 in April. She is finally old enough to enjoy wheelin and has actually expressed interest in going. I just hacked out the back of my cage and will be redoing it and adding a seat for her over the next few months.

It's been going on 3 years for me. The wheeler just needs a battery, but I'm working on finding a new tow rig to get it around.

My last 'hardcore' trip was to Naches last 4th of July, but I've done lots of local stuff since then.

its almost been a year so I'm webbin' it right now. almost got the truck ready to go back together. :corn:

Who gave you the right to ask embarrassing, personal questions? (LOL)

Well know, wait a minute here. I am the one in the photo that I see above this particular forum. So that means I was out in January at Bobby's memorial run. Just ridin though.

I was up in the $hit snow Saturday... Still had a blast, a day in the crappy snow is better than a day on the couch. Before that the last time I was up was 4th of July on the rocks. Will be heading out next Saturday for a little cruise.

December 15th was the last time I was out wheelin, other than driving my rig through the McD's parking lot last weekend just to drive it again. Would be getting out more, but everyone's rig around here is broken or they don't have a rig anymore. I never wheel alone so guess I am stuck waiting for people to fix their ****.

Hot laps only, haven't been on the trail in my rig since nov 2011.

It has been so long, I can't remember if I fixed the rig/:redneck:

September, at the PNW Jeep Meet & Greet. Got laid off in August, and trying to recover from being unemployed still. Plus I need tires.

It's been about 2.5 years for me. Wife got really sick and passed away 2 years ago. Been dealing with single parenthood, dating, now re-married with 3 more kids. Trailer is full of stuff from combining two households of stuff still. Got the runner started a couple weeks ago. Got something loose in the rear end but will be back on the trails soon. Gotta put a couple more seats in it now too.
