So much for having to stay off the groomed roads :cheer::awesomework: I think I would rather have a set of those then to have a sled. But of course you would need a couple of people having them or a breakdown out in the woods could get reallllll bad :booo:
Where can I find the rules and regulations about tracked vehicles on roads that are groomed? I want to see if I can make my truck legal for such areas.
State parks runs the snow parks and grooming so I would check there first. I really cant see where they could gripe much though unless theres some kind of a weight limit. As I remember the rule is simply "no wheeled vehicles"
Yes, they can... IIRC the rules for groomed snowmobile trails are "single track driven, ski steer". There is a truck here in town w/ tracks, and he cannot go on the groomed trails. Technically the quads w/ tracks are not supposed to be up there, but per the DNR guy that I talked to last year they let that slide...
Wouldn't this be faster?
