Two of my buddy's have all stock '85's with the sensor in the water neck on both of 'em...:eeek: I thought you were all-knowing in the Yota dept!???
my EARLY 85 also. single wire sensor.
Ok so my bud Ethan took this POs to his house and did a diag and the mass air meter was good but the codes come back as short in the mass air meter circuit so i'm guessing that my fuel injection harness is no good anymore. i started a thread for a new harness does anyone out there have one for a 89 runner to sell or trade? :beer:

It helped me a ton putting a stripped 95 harness on a 91 motor in my FToy which never had a harness to start with.
