I think I need off set wheels or a wider stance for my 1985 toyota 4runner

I myself prefer narrow rigs, so I'd probably wait until the body lift is removed before doing anything. And then if still too tippy for your liking, find the correct offset wheels.
Your runner does look awefully narrow.....
 
the average tire for a toy has a back spacing of 3 1/2"s... you can get a set of wheels from summit that have as much as 2" back spacing...I ran with a wide rear 1 1/2 wheel spacers in front and 2" backspaced wheels...

Wow what are you running 7" wheels on 55" wide axles? No wonder it is tippy holy fawk...

IFS hub flip, spacers and wide wheels and you will be stable... Here is my truck when it was on that setup, the wheels were 10" with DIY beadlocks and 42's.. It was stable then but way better now. :D
