Meanwhile for some reason, diesel around here is still $1.30-$1.50 more per gallon than 87 octane.

Oh, it's no mystery...diesel powers all of the heavy lifting equipment.. semis, locomotives, ships....kind of puts things in perspective.

Yeah I knew it was all interconnected still just surprised by how big the price gap still is.
 
All assault charges should be leveled against anyone who openly curb stomps someone for saying they're still proud they voted for him at this point. If you can't see how poor of a choice you made at this point , there's no hope for you.

It's more about a touchy feely kinda thing. They want everyone happy with their own pronoun. Concerned with the have not, and not free market.
 
My buddies wife is a middle school teacher in a fairly small Midwest town and even their school has been corrupted by lefty policies, kids identifying as dogs and cats. I told her to tell the lunch ladies to feed them particular dumb****s red flannel and fancy feast for lunch. On the bright side employment for all normal folks shouldn’t be hard to find with that generation following up behind us

Sadly, it seems that most businesses, atleast the bigger ones, want to hire these "minorities"... I suspect that those folks will eventually grow up or companies will hire 2-3 times the people to get the same work done. They for sure cant fire them, in today's world.

But for any business that actually needs people to work or have a skill, it seems like openings will be available for a long time. I believe that the world we see right now, with shortages everywhere, will continue for some time. With boomers retiring, and the younger folks not working, there will continue to be a shortage. That is, unless an economic recession reduces the number of employees needed for the foreseeable future.

I just wanna know what they plan on doing with all these IRS workers this tax season . The small business people are at the end of they're ropes already . If they plan on nickel and diming people that don't have two to rub together to start with . I see alot of places going out . I forsee alot of your local mom n pop CPA and tax service places getting shook up too for no reason . We need an up close and personal audit with whats going on in the white house is what I say.

Agree 100%. I havent looked for the info, but I would be interested in the percentage of those IRS people that they have actually hired. Given the issues that most companies are having to hire people, I dont see .gov being at the top of the list to work for.
 
That percentage is, so they say . Is figuring in on the retires for the next few years, retiring and needing replacements. Still though why would they need anymore than those that would be retiring
 
To me it sounds like the money allocated to these new positions will hang out in limbo for a few years, and when their basic number of agents is kept in a basic ratio. The rest of the money will come up missing, and they will force another, new bill in with the same damn money amount. For something new!
 
And in the mean time we’ll send Ukraine a half a billion dollars every couple weeks with zero oversight because for some reason theirs borders and sovereignty matter and ours don’t. If the fed can keep printing money why do we even pay taxes?

We have to send money somewhere, hell. Mexico and central America is moving here , Iraqis don't have anywhere else to stack money or bombs . We might as well give the soviets some too while we're at it . Meanwhile you can't hire an American to do any labor intensive work because the federal government is already paying them more than that to set on their ass at home.

They're no more to blame than we are , we live here too . There's more problems than answers. I have two kids under the age of 6 . There's coming a day where I'll have to have talks with them that my parents didn't have to have with me and I grew up in the 90's . Thats how much society has changed and it wasn't for the better.
 
Craziest part is all the silly ****s in DC think it’s prudent to bank roll a countries war machine ( which didn’t gain its “independence” until krushchev came to power and did it to gain favor from folks in that region since that’s where he was from) and all the while think Putin isn’t getting more and more pissed that Ukraine is fighting him with our checkbook. It’s a proxy war that we are fully invested in, starting up the Cold War between the two biggest nuclear stock piles is not good for anybody...
 
Well, fuel prices are going up again. Even though dumb ass says the national average for gas is $2.99. Same **** different year, what was once Cuba is now Ukraine.

Locally diesel went up from $4.15 on Wednesday to $4.55 on Thursday.

87 Octane has gone from $2.89 to $3.39 in ten days.

Gas around me hasn't been below $3.20 in 6 months or longer.
Some of the independent tria axle drivers said they watched diesel jump .38 cents Friday.
 
Term limits coupled with stricter regulations on foundations and how donation dollars can be spent and what they can be spent on needs to happen. Public office holders shouldn’t come out of Washington multi millionaires when they make $175k a year, they were sent there on our behalf to do our bidding but at some point it seems that instead of working for us it became the norm that this small amount of people are the enlightened ones and know what’s best for the rest of the country
