Jeep 3.7L seized

Has anyone heared or have had any problems with the dodge 3.7 seizing up? My mother in law just got in a very minor fender bender (scrached her fender) and later that same day the motor started nocking and running like sh-t and is now siezed up. No check engine, no oil light nothing. Its a 03 liberty.

Looks like it was suffering from the common dodge sludge problem maybe?

Sounds like a cut coolant line that resulted in the engine siezing. I doubt the two are not related. And even a minor fender bender could have done damage to the engine. Good luck on getting it covered by the insurance company.

She's going to see what the insurance wants to do and go from there. I really dont think that they will do anything. Its just weird that it happened when and how it did. I'll tear it appart when I can to see what happened. I was just wondering if this might be somthing common with this motor.
