We got a little project of evolution brewing over in NC. After being a Jeep guy for 11 years and several versions I decided the Jeep needed to be recycled into a 4 seat buggy. After climbing all over Sommertime's #17 4 seater I called up Jim and set it all in motion. I blew the Jeep apart to use a few of its parts.

This is the Jeep after its final rebuild before KOH 2009

#17. I still blame this build for the pain it has caused my checkbook.

After not too much time he had a chassis bent and welded up

I went to work building a new from axle. I used the Solid outers from my existing 60 but moved them to a Spidertrax housing with a Mega HI9 center.

A quick call netted me a Super14 rear built and shipped to Jim

I don't know what's up with the pics. Never seemed to be an issue before.

Fuel cell with an ATL trap door sump and in tank pump.

Yea, that thing is sex on wheels! Does Jim's Garage have a web site?

No website. He has a decent sized photobucket collection of his work. I can get you his contact info if you want to get some info.

Whats the details on that gps? does it accept cameras? is it water proof?

It is the Lowrance HDS-5M, same setup I run in my U4 car just smaller. They are waterproof but I'm not sure about a camera interface.

City streets are in the factory software. Trails can be downloaded via SD card and stored on the hard drive if someone has charted them. I have all of Johnson Valley and most of Clayton, OK in mine. It's pretty simple to do, just takes few seconds to enter the name.

looks badazz!

for some reason i can see the pics on the wifes ipad but not on any desktop computer work or home
