JK knuckle on a TJ??

Karl,

Here are somethings that I found out need to be watched for when doing something like this. I am not saying that I have made this happen, but you are not the only one to consider something like this.

Are you going to need to get bigger wheels? JK runs a 17" stock and thus has allot more room for brakes. If you have anything smaller than a 17" there could be clearence issues.

Watch the differences in unit bearing height between the two. If you are not careful the axle U-Joint may end up not being centered in the knuckle causing binding issues.

Those are the big ones. Let me know what you find out and we can pool our information.

Karl,

Is there some secret stash of JK parts laying around that only you now about? I'm just curious on price and availability.

Will a JK pass side knuckle fit on a tj D30 housing? if so that would be a great way to setup better steering on a TJ.

I haven't heard of anything but you can swap wj knuckles, hubs and brakes. This upgrades your brakes aswell as your steering.
