Well I was just sitting in the garage drinking a beer thinking about what I should do before I go wheeling again this weekend. Then a light bulb went off:happy First I really needed to add some tow points for gear in the back for when the rear seat is out. So I took some bolts and big fender washers. Welded them together and WALA. Anchor points! Then I was sitting there looking at my hilift that I just lay accross the back and figured theres got to be an easy way to mount it. So I had some 1/2" all thread laying around and did work. Started with a piece where the brace meets the roll bar. Then I have a box of laser cut tabs. Took another piece of allthread and plug welded it into the tab. Then gotta make it flat. So I did some fancy finish grinding:cool: At this point I notice my shop dog is starin me down :redneck: My boxer is a puss and was hiding around the corner:haha: So back to work. Now that I had the thread welded to the tab I could weld it to the body. The tabs purpose served as some support to the sheet metal. With everything tacked, make sure the hilift goes on nice and easy. If it does then burn it up.
