You can look for a product called “Spike” made by Dow chemical. Word of caution, it will kill a broad area.... but if you can use it and get it thrown out and watered in..... nothing will live. About a year.

I've been using this eliminator stuff with a battery wand from Walmart. Like $7, I'd wear some gloves as I'm sure it will cause anything and everything eventually...but the stuff is great.

You may be able to use an all natural weed control on it. Can be found at www.naturalorganicswarehouse.com. It is basically a really strong vinegar which is an acid. It burns down all vegetation in a short amount of time. However woody plants can be tough so it may come back. Copper nails driven into the base of it will kill it also. otherwise a good dose of brush killer will get it.

Crossbow concentrate and mix it yourself. Do not use premix and go buy it from a Coop not TSC. Talk to the oldest most redneck looking guy at the Coop and he will tell you how to mix it. When it dies, use Tordon on the stump. There is also a product called Escort (Metsulfuron methyl) that may kill it as well. That stuff is hard to kill,but stay on it and follow the directions and it will die. All natural weed killers are worthless. No point in playing footsie with stuff you want to die, use nasty poisonous stuff and do it right!

This stuff is about as nasty as it gets, but if there is any kind of slope or run off area it will kill anything in its path. This is made to clear fence lines and it works. Comes in a canister and you throw it out by hand then water it in. It moves straight down into the soil, but will runoff if much of a slope. It is a good option if nothing else is around you want to live.

Just cut the stem off and paint the cut end with full strength glyphosate. Have to paint it on as soon as its cut...don't cut it then go for a beer break. You could also use a hatchet and cut into the stem in several spots around the diameter and squirt triclopyr into the cuts...glyphosate would work too if you already have it.

The issue is that it sprawled out under my back deck. The deck is built into a hill. And about 80-100 across. The south end I can get under. But the north end, it ain’t happening. I’ll get in there as far as I can. Maybe it’ll work.

Glyphosate wont work well on woody plants. It is absorbed in the leaf and translocated through the plant disrupting EPSP synthase. It can't do that through cut and drench treatment. (it may work a little, but not enough to wipe out wysteria.

That being said, pull up a board at the top of the deck close to the house and sprinkle the spike and water it in and let it run down the hill. Not environmentally responsible and could really screw up some crap, but you drive a 1 Tondra so you know how to party!! :dblthumb:

just drive a pure copper nail in each trunk. They will die in short order. No worry about spills or other environmental concerns or impact to you and yours.
