I thought for sure I'd be buying Sam two new airshocks, based on his shady design of mounting the bumps, but everything held up with no issues as I was launching his buggy up the climb. I never did make it all the way, but did get farther than Sam, or Mark in the rockwelled FJ buggy.

The bumps got my approval, despite my initial thoughts. :flipoff1:

i was thinking about mounting air bumps on the rear of mine and was wondering how did this do, anything wrong yet, any sing of harm to the shock body

Rebuilt my rear shocks today and did some oiling changes etc. Everything looks good as new inside... :****:

Anyone still doubting? :flipoff1:

Your a genius SON ! Hell now I want to bump the rear of mine like that. Sure would easy the packaging issue's I am facing and look much more pleasing to the eye-balls.

Im glad this has held up to YOUR abuse. I know you beat that thing like your............. well you know what I mean :flipoff1:

IN this picture... is that how "low" you have them mounted on the body of the shock ? If so your bumps are fully compressed and you have , say like 1"-2" left on the air shock :dunno:

P, the way the bumps are mounted the point where they hit is about 2" lower than where the airshock mounts. I set them up to bottom out at the same point. This difference comes from the bump pad being mounted off the side of the lower link mount. Not sure if I explained that clear or not.

OK, so you do have them setup to bottom out fully when the shock is bottomed out fully ... thats basically what I was asking.
