Well, for a long time I've wheeled a streetable rig and have finally beat it to a crumpled mess.

I rebuilt this 22ret a short while back. It has forged pistons and eagle rods LC engineering crank. Home job ported and polished gasket matched. No cat or muff, just 2 3/4' pipe. It has about 1,000 miles on it.

It throws the turd around pretty good, but I have a Gen3 Supra that I'd like to put a 2jz in.

The engine has 102,000 on it and I replaced the head gasket at 80,000

As soon as I find a junkyard bellhousing The 7M (turbo OR n/A) bolts to a W56(my trans) using a 5M or 7MGE (n/a) bellhousing.
Until then the current powerplant will suffice.

I'm starting with the rear axle since I'll be linking it. First I cleaned off all existing brack brackets and bent a 2"x .250 wall for the top.

Now, I've seen alot of people running store bought diff covers and frankly, I think they're lame. I gathered same scrap and went to cutting and fitting

Simple cardboard patterns

Scribed shape with sharp tungsten

Guide set out for torch

Tacked in place

Finished

It aint welded to the housing yet.

I've got an old 22r dipstick I cut down for the breather hole. I drilled and tapped the hole to 1/2 inch so I can fill it easier.:awesomework:

Layed some hammered owl **** on for strength.

Now I'll cut my tacks to the housing and lay some **** on the inside. Once that's done I'll cut some prissy little triangles to finish the install.
