Line Locks

I've got a TJ with the 8.8 and the e-brake has always been terrible even when properly adjusted. Last time I had the shafts out I just took off all the e-brake hardware and threw it away. That being said, I'd like to have something when on the trails. Anyone using a line lock for an e-brake?

yeh, I have a ball valve plumbed into my front brakes. Push the pedal, turn valve and boom, parking brake. Works great being a manual.

On my last TJ, and mounted the ball valve at the end of the short cable coming from the parking brake. That way the stock ebrake handle moved the valve. Worked great and fooled the inspection peeps here in Texas.

I've been running one of these in my jeep for over 15 years. Works great, holds pressure. The price has gone up over the years. I think I paid $125 for mine back in the day.

This is how the previous owner setup our line lock/parking brake. Only difference is that he used a Parker Ball Valve and ours is an automatic.
