Fixed

Ive had my hands on a fair share of dd's, Including a 16v92 with 4 turbos. They sound bad ass when tuned right.

It Was Pihl Running the madill yarder on the tank chassis next time they have it at the shop I'll get a picture or two.

are those just two 8v71's hooked in unison?

Nope Its A 16V92TA. actually a factory DD engine made for tug boats, off highway mine trucks and the like... with a few modifications. its basically two 8v 92 blocks machined to bolt together nose to nose with a 2 piece bolt together crank. has 4 cams to that spin forward and two that spin backwards. quite the piece of equipment. We run it in this

thats some cool info to know? if by any chance is ur shop located up on Bow hill that ya work on that thing at?

This one has a Detroit, looks like a V8, but are the 8V71's turbo'd? This one is.

Yes. All are super charged (though they are called naturally asperated) and came with one, sometime two turbos depending on the set up. And they were 2 strokes.

Dilley and Soloman'a out in Forks have a log truck with a 12v92 with twin turbo's on it.

I didn't mind the bigger detroits, the smaller ones, 4's and 6's in shovel's aka log loaders get real annoying like over grown yamaha's.
