The LS3 makes 436 HP with 428 TQ in stock form. The numbers are right on from GM because I've seen these cars dyno at 399 RWHP on a DynoJet. The heads and block both have the same casting numbers as the L92 truck engine. The main difference in LS3 complete heads is that they have lighter valves and better valvesprings than standard L92 complete heads.

I contacted Luxury Auto parts in Lincoln,Alabama and the man said he could get me an LS2 for around 9000.00 being the high price with 6k miles and 6500.00 being the low with 21k miles with all wiring harness

Don't forget that the LS2 also comes in the TrailBlazer SS. 06 -08 models. 400HP/400TQ I think if I was looking for a motor I would run the LS2 ovder the LS3. The main reason is that the LS2 can be found for less money and with just a few basic mods(real set of headers, Dyno tune) will make more power than the LS3 and leave money in your wallet. There are a ton of cam only LS2's out there making 475-490 at the crank.

You can purchase a new FORGED shortblock LS2 for around $4000. I picked mine up used for $3000. Eagle 4" crank, Eagle H-beam rods, Manley pistons, ARP mains, and head studs, even included a new double row timing set, new oil pump, and a custom cam. You just have to stay on the look out. You can find alot fo great deals on ls1tech.com .

What kind fo intake you looking for? I know where a LS6 intake is.
