I want to make a tie rod out of solid t-6 7075 aluminum. I basically just need the ends drilled out and tapped. Does anybody do machine work on the side or can recommend a shop on the east side?

I don't know if Bunk has access to machine tools again, but if he does, X whatever.

What diameter? Bunk, if you want, you can use my lathe. I don't have a tread cutting tool or insert, but if you want to check it out and see if its anything you can use on the side you're more than welcome (I'm a hack machinist, Bunk is the real thing).

What size threads? I can do it... I'm in Yakima but could have the material picked up in Renton and delivered back to Renton.
